What a charming , salt of the earth tavern . Visiting with family and dropped in for lunch & beverage . We all had the Reuben sandwiches and soup of the day / creamy chicken Pabloma .Unexpectedly delicious and filling . Saw my families names on the bar as an added treat . Thank you , hope to return one day to your lovely town !

I enjoyed one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time here! I had the OT Grindr it was done to perfection definitely order it again! Play some very clean restrooms were very nice and probably the nicest Men's Room I've been into well decorated very clean. Would recommend coming to this place I would go back again.

I love the old buildings in Oakland. It's like stepping into the past. Oakland Tavern is an excellent place to eat and has an atmosphere that matches Oakland's rustic setting. They have an excellent assortment of sandwiches, salad and soups. Their Tacos on Tuesdays are delicious. The friendly service , great food and casual rustic setting draw us back there often!

The O.T. , as it is fondly know by locals, has awesome sandwiches along with drinks, of course. They are a friendly Tavern loaded with history.It has been operating as a Tavern since the late 1800's!They have tacos on Tuesdays, and often times have live entertainment on weekend evenings.Plus make sure you make time to visit the nifty antiques & other shops in town. The Museum is awesome too!Exit 140 off of Hwy 5 heading south or exit 138 heading northLess than a mile or so from the I-5 exits!

Dillion was a phenomenal bartender. Food and service was phenomenal. It's very rare nowadays too walk in a bar you've never been and feel instantly welcomed.
